Pier anglers are using cooked shrimp or alewife for chinook, steelhead, brown trout and lake trout, but catch rates were slow. Boat anglers have caught a few small chinook and steelhead in front of the pier heads. Lake trout were caught around the nets when fishing off the bottom. Bring a measuring tape, as many of the fish are under the legal size limit, which is 20 inches. Yellow perch are starting to move in closer to the piers.
