Warm temperatures improved fishing conditions. Bluegills were caught in 4 to 6 feet of water while crappie and rock bass were taken in 6 to 8 feet of water. Walleye fishing remains fair in 6 to 10 feet of water. Good numbers of largemouth bass were caught on minnows, crawlers, leeches, crayfish, tube baits, and spinner baits. Northern pike were caught in shallow waters.
