I am "planning" on fishing Muskegon the 18th, 19th, and 20th. I have room for 1-2 people on Friday, and "may" have room 1-2 on Saturday. I "may" have room for a scurvy dog or two on my pirate ship on the 20th. Arrrggghhhh!!!!

My sons will be fishing with me ALL 3 days. We only catch BIG fish on-board the GLF!

If you are fishing in your boat or on another in the DW/Big Jon event on the 20th....forget it! :p

I do not make people wait on me, and I do not like waiting at the dock for someone who may or may not show. I've waited at the dock already this year for people who have not shown up. When its time to leave...The boat leaves!

Arrrggghhhh!!!!!!!

I am fishing the Dreamweaver so I can not fish with you this time, but hope to get on that Amberjack to see how they ride. Did you fish the Cabelas tournament? Sure was a rough and wet ride this morning on my boat. Too bad it was cancelled for both days.

Did they start the tournament today?

I ran into baby sitter issues and had to cancel on everyone who was going to fish it with me.

Looks like I did not miss out on anything anyways.

Mike,
Yes they started the tournament yesterday. The waves were reported to be 3-5 foot but those were the largest five foot waves I ever fished. My boat handled them ok other than the shower we took getting to our destination. Millers canvas has my side curtains and his father died so I could not get them. We fished about an hour and a half and they called the tournament boats into port and said there would be an hour delay. But by the time I got the six lines I felt I could safely run pulled, they cancelled the tournament, stating that there was not a four hour window to fish. Entry money will be refunded. If you paid by credit card a credit will be issued otherwise a check will be in the mail. First large tournament I fished, too bad mother nature did not cooperate. Probally fish next year but I need to find a crew that doesnt get green when the going gets rough. (JUST-N-TIME) Mike
