17 Ft. Lund Fisherman "Slacker" run mostly out of Manistee and Onekama, but you often see us in Portage Lake. Rigged with 2 Big Jon Captain's Pak riggers, 2 Big Jon triple holders, Big Jon Mast and boards. And the best part my daughter on board ready to go fishing.

Welcome aboard DarkBlue. Nice looking rig! How has the fishing been so far this year?

Very slow. Can't say I'm not a little apprehensive about going out into a mine field of nets, marked and unmarked. Some kings have been showing up deeper. Browns were almost non-existent in my opinion. But as we all know it's early. I'm heading out this evening out of Onekama and I'll post if I catch anything.

Fished the barrel out of Onekama tonight and picked up one King on a half core with a NBK. Still pretty slow. It was nice having the trap net set right in my favorite spot to troll. Marked fish all around it, and no where else. Just brings a big happy smile to my face every time I see it out there. :no:
