2008 Lake Michigan Stinger Challenge Results

Here are the results from the 2008 Lake Michigan Stinger Challenge.

Everyone was limited to 6 rods and had to fish the exact same lure package.

Anglers were only allowed to weigh in 5 fish. They received 10 bonus points for each chinook or coho and 15 bonus points for each brown trout, lake trout, or steelhead they weighed in.

There was 15 teams that participated in the event. There was 62 fish weigh in for a total of 395.7lbs.

The BIG fish of the event was caught by Rob and weighed 15.85lbs.

1st place with 5 fish and a score of 107.3pts was dajumboman.

2nd place with 5 fish and a score of 105.90 was Rob.

6th place with 5 fish and a score of 92.50 was Big Treble.

thanks OLD BUDDY, but i think i like cazniks pic from last year better,
ok enough said ,heres my report from yesterday
we left the dock around 5:30 and set up in 175 and went s.w. all the way to 265 fow and never took a hit ,so we turned around and came back to 170 fow and marked a bunch of bait near the bottom with some very nice marks around them
we ended up 6 for 9 all kings NO BONUS FISH
2 on a diehard flasher and diehard fly on a wire diver on 1 , back 325
1 miss on a nbk flasher and nbk fly on a wire diver 275 back on 1
2 on the blue machine on 15 coler lead core
1 and 1 miss on the area 51 109 down on a rigger
1 and 1 mis on the dolphin killer 85 down on a rigger

Congrats to everyone who fished. I always have fun on Lake Michigan. :) The Dirty Dog cleaned house, with a third place show, and the luck of the draw. Thanks to GLF and Michigan Stinger for a great tourney. Another Thanks to GLF for inviting me aboard.

Wished I coulda fished this. The Dirty Dog allways seems to clean house,someone needs to do something about this. Paired with Adam and Phil and you might as well jus hand them the money before you even go fishing. Nice job to everyone that fished, looks like everyone did pretty good.
