  1. After pulling in some nice catches earlier this month to the south the shoreline bite dried up for us this past week. Today my 4 boats fished 60 to 80 feet of water south of the power plant and caught some Lake Trout, King Salmon and our first Rainbow Trout of the season. Fish are still scattered due to the cold water and no forming thermocline yet. A rattlesnake took the Rainbow while the Lakers and Kings came on glow spoons suspended on the downriggers. If we keep these winds in a southerly direction and get the current moving northward I think the fishing will improve and maybe we will get into some Coho and Rainbow action before June. Good luck fishing this season as we'll see you on the water. Pictures and Videos at: www.fishingsheboygan.com
  2. Everything is sure pointing in the right direction so far this season. We are not just catching Brown Trout ( like normal ) but we are also boating some nice King's and limits of Lake Trout too! Water temperatures are 50 to 56 degress which is making more fish active early this season. Water depths of 10 to 20 feet of water south from the Power Plant past Black River point is the area we have been working the last few days. Crankbaits ( Dave Kabooms, Fastrac Rebels and Thundersticks ) on the planner boards, while spoons ( Stinger, Yeck and Fishlanders ) on the downriggers and diver rods are taking these fish. Good luck fishing this season! Dumper Dan's Four Boat Charter Fishing Fleet of Sheboygan.
